Project Requirements
Before beginning a development project, LaravelByte may require the client to provide complete and accurate project requirements, content, credentials, designs, documentation, API information, and other materials necessary to complete the project.
Delays caused by incomplete requirements, delayed feedback, unavailable credentials, third-party services, or other client-side dependencies may affect the project timeline.
Project Scope
Each development project will be based on the agreed scope of work.
Any features, functionality, integrations, designs, or requirements not included in the original scope may be treated as additional work and may result in additional charges and changes to the delivery timeline.
Requests for changes after approval of a design, feature, or project milestone may also be considered additional work.
Pricing and Payments
Project pricing will be communicated through a quotation, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement. Depending on the project, we may require:
- An advance payment before development begins.
- Milestone-based payments during development.
- Final payment before project delivery or deployment.
The payment schedule agreed upon with the client will take precedence over general information contained on this website.
Work may be paused if required payments are not received within the agreed timeframe.
Development Timeline
We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline provided to the client.
However, estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed upon in writing. Delays may occur due to:
- Changes in requirements.
- Delayed client feedback.
- Delayed payments.
- Third-party API or service issues.
- Hosting or server issues.
- App store review processes.
- Technical complications.
- Unforeseen development requirements.
- Events outside our reasonable control.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate information and materials required for the project. This may include:
- Website content.
- Images and videos.
- Logos and branding materials.
- Product information.
- API credentials.
- Hosting or server access.
- Domain information.
- Business requirements.
- Third-party account access where required.
The client must ensure that all materials supplied to LaravelByte are legally owned, licensed, or otherwise authorized for use.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, LaravelByte retains ownership of its pre-existing code, frameworks, reusable components, libraries, development tools, templates, techniques, and other proprietary materials.
Upon receipt of all agreed payments, ownership or usage rights for custom deliverables will be transferred or licensed to the client according to the applicable project agreement.
Third-party software, frameworks, libraries, APIs, plugins, fonts, images, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Third-Party Services
Our development projects may depend on third-party services such as:
- Hosting providers
- Payment gateways
- Cloud platforms
- Google services
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
- APIs
- Email providers
- SMS providers
- Analytics platforms
- External software libraries and plugins
LaravelByte does not control these third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, pricing, functionality, or policies.
Additional fees charged by third-party providers are generally the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Hosting and Domain Services
If LaravelByte assists with domain registration, hosting, server configuration, SSL certificates, email services, or similar services, those services may be provided through third-party providers.
The client remains responsible for applicable renewal fees and third-party charges unless otherwise stated in the service agreement.
Mobile Applications
For mobile application development, publishing on platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store may require compliance with the respective platform's rules, policies, technical requirements, and review processes.
LaravelByte cannot guarantee approval, ranking, downloads, revenue, or continued availability of an application on any third-party app store.
Testing and Client Approval
LaravelByte may provide testing and review opportunities during development.
The client is responsible for reviewing and approving the final deliverables within the agreed review period.
Once a project or milestone has been approved by the client, subsequent changes may be considered additional work.
Maintenance and Support
Unless explicitly included in a written agreement, ongoing maintenance, support, updates, bug fixes, server management, security monitoring, and third-party service management are not automatically included after project completion.
Any ongoing support services may be provided under a separate maintenance or support agreement.
Bugs and Technical Issues
We make reasonable efforts to identify and resolve bugs during development.
A bug means unintended behavior that causes the software to fail to perform a feature that was specifically included in the agreed project scope.
Changes in requirements, third-party service failures, unsupported environments, hosting issues, or modifications made by parties other than LaravelByte may not be considered development bugs.
Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of information shared with us for the purpose of providing services.
Where required, confidentiality obligations may be governed by a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or service agreement.
Portfolio and Marketing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, LaravelByte may display completed projects, screenshots, descriptions, or logos in its portfolio and marketing materials.
Clients who require their project to remain confidential or not be publicly displayed should notify LaravelByte in writing.
Refunds and Cancellation
Refunds and cancellations will be handled according to the applicable project agreement, quotation, invoice, or refund policy.
Because software development involves time, resources, planning, and custom work, payments for completed work or work already performed may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a client cancels a project after development has started, the client may be responsible for payment for work completed up to the cancellation date.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaravelByte will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses arising from the use of our website, software, services, or third-party services.
This may include loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss resulting from third-party service failures.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
No Guarantee of Business Results
LaravelByte provides technology and development services but does not guarantee specific business outcomes.
We do not guarantee that a website, application, software product, SEO implementation, marketing integration, or other technology solution will result in a specific amount of revenue, customers, traffic, downloads, rankings, or profits.
Business results depend on many factors outside our control.
Security
We take reasonable measures to develop and maintain secure software.
However, no internet-connected website, application, server, or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The client is responsible for maintaining appropriate credentials, access controls, backups, hosting security, and other security measures for systems under their control.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project or service relationship according to the terms of the applicable agreement.
LaravelByte may suspend or terminate services where the client:
- Fails to make required payments.
- Provides fraudulent or unlawful information.
- Misuses our services.
- Violates these Terms.
- Requests work that is illegal or violates third-party rights.
Force Majeure
LaravelByte shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, internet or infrastructure failures, government actions, cyber incidents, widespread service outages, pandemics, labor disruptions, or failures of third-party providers.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of our website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India, unless otherwise agreed in a written contract with the client.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction specified in the applicable service agreement or, where no specific jurisdiction has been agreed, the courts having appropriate jurisdiction.
